Session: Lessons Learned From Launching New Open Source Projects
This session will cover the journey and lessons learned from launching the Ortelius and Pyrsia Open Source Projects. We will review how these projects started, followed by comparing the approaches in community building. Most important is we will highlight what’s working and what’s not. We will also look at the role that parent open-source foundations play in the process, such as Apache and Linux Foundation. If you are starting an open-source project, this session will provide tips for getting it done.
