Session: Capture the Flag 101 Workshop (Extended Session)
Whether you’ve never heard of Capture the Flag (CTF) or you’ve found it intimidating to jump in, this workshop is for you!
We’ll review what CTFs are (and are not) as well as introduce key concepts to get those innate h4x0r skills moving!
This is a hands-on, interactive lab where you’re introduced to two simple challenges of “easy” and “medium” degree of difficulty. I’ll drop hints along the way, discuss common approaches to solving CTF challenges and, ultimately, reveal the solutions. Along the way, you have time to work on the challenge before we review the solution together.
