Session: Becoming Cloudy with Kubernetes
If you are like most application architects then your career likely started in an era where on-premises computers were required to host your applications. Where applications were big and vertically integrated (aka monolithic); where processes/workflows were linear, long and normally laborious; where business requirements were more predictable; where scale and security were bound by your available hardware and physical walls. Unfortunately, nostalgia is not super valuable in the world of Information Technology. In this session, we are going to explore the Cloud Native Computing Foundation’s Kubernetes ecosystem of open source projects, some cloud native application frameworks/runtimes and automation tools that enable high throughput engineering teams to produce better software ever faster around the globe, more securely.
