We’re thrilled you’re registering for All Things Open! We look forward to bringing our community back together again October 31 – November 2 in Raleigh, NC USA and online in a virtual environment.
Note, Registration will take place on Eventbrite.
Traditional Conference Days
Choose between In-Person or Virtual registration for the primary conference days on Tuesday, November 1 and Wednesday, November 2. The In-Person event will take place in downtown Raleigh, NC USA. The virtual event takes place online and is FREE. Follow through and register – it only takes a couple of minutes. These days will feature 15 minute keynotes and 45 and 90 minute featured talks and track sessions.
Note, Scholarships and free passes to the in-person event are available for those eligible.
Tuesday and/or Wednesday Registration
Cost: $199 USD Per Day or

Format: In-person at the Raleigh Convention Center
*Note, you will be automatically registered for the virtual event when you register for in-person programming. You do not need to register separately.
Virtual Event Registration
Cost: FREE
When: Tuesday, November 1 – Wednesday November 2
Format: Online/Virtual
Includes live streamed programming only. A portion of onsite programming (keynotes + 5-7 tracks) will be live streamed to the virtual platform each day.

Co-located Events
Choose a co-located event – Inclusion & Diversity in Open Source or The Community Leadership Summit (CLS). These are in-person events taking place Sunday, October 30 (Inclusion & Diversity in Open Source) and Monday, October 31 (CLS) at the Raleigh Convention Center and both are free to attend. Separate registration for these events is required.
Inclusion & Diversity in Open Source
Cost: FREE
When: Sunday, October 30
Format: In-person at the Raleigh Convention Center
Includes access to live programing (stand-alone talks, panel discussions and group discussions with leading technologists and I&D thought leaders) and a networking social. This will be the 5th year of this one-day, stand-alone program. Learn more about this year’s event and see events from 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Community Leadership Summit (CLS)
Cost: FREE
When: Monday, October 31
Format: In-person at the Raleigh Convention Center
Includes access to programming that will include stand-alone talks and moderated discussions with community and industry leaders from all over the U.S and the world. This will be the third year CLS has co-located with All Things Open. Learn more about this year’s event and see events from 2020 and 2021.

Extended Workshops
This year, 4 extended workshops with limited seating will be available Monday, October 31. The cost will be $29 USD. Seating for each workshop is limited.

Each year we make VIP packages available to anyone wanting to guarantee they receive a conference t-shirt and/or poster. *The prices listed include shipping costs where applicable (read our shipping policy) VIP packages do not include event registration.
*Note, this does not require an event registration – VIP options can be purchased separately. Keep in mind, a limited t-shirt giveaway will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center during the event. In addition, we will also host poster giveaways where a limited number of posters will be given away (approximately 50 each day). VIP options are for people who would like to guarantee they receive a shirt and/or a poster.

- If you register for the In-Person event, you will automatically be registered for the virtual component. However, if you register for the virtual component (FREE) you will not automatically be registered for the in-person event. You will need to register for in-person separately.
