Let’s Get Social! 2022 Social Overview
Sessions and speakers are the primary reason people attend conferences.
However, we feel networking opportunities are extremely important also. And in some cases, even more important – for a variety of reasons.
All Things Open 2022, our 10 year anniversary, will include 4 networking socials attendees can choose from. All provide a genuinely good opportunity to relax and meet new friends.

*Note, everyone attending a social must check-in / register first in the 3rd floor lobby of the Raleigh Convention Center (RCC). A conference lanyard will be required for entry. No RSVP is necessary. Limited food and beverages will be available at each event.
Sunday, October 30
Raleigh Convention Center
A networking social will immediately follow the Inclusion & Diversity event at the Raleigh Convention Center. All social attendees must register for and attend a portion of the Inclusion & Diversity program. The Inclusion & Diversity event is FREE, but registration is required.

Monday, October 31
Welcome Social – Jimmy V’s on Fayetteville Street
The official 2022 Welcome Social will immediately follow programming at the Raleigh Convention Center (programming includes the Community Leadership Summit and extended workshops). This is a great way to kick things off and say hello to fellow conference attendees and speakers, sponsors, etc. The Welcome Social is always a big hit and very popular.

Tuesday, November 1
Day 1 ATO Social + RIOT IoT Demo Night
Tuesday, November 1 is the first “core” conference day at ATO 2022, and it’s a busy one. Two separate networking opportunities will take place, which we hope maximizes networking and relaxing opportunities for everyone.

The “primary” networking social of the evening will immediately follow ATO programming. The festivities will take place onsite on the outside patio at the RCC.

RIOT IoT Demo Night – Raleigh Convention Center, 2nd floor common area
RIOT will host their annual IoT Demo Night onsite at the Raleigh Convention Center following ATO programming, and there will be a networking component (food and beverages will be available). In addition, 50+ IoT companies will be demonstrating cool and innovative IoT solutions at exhibit tables throughout the 2nd floor.

Wednesday, November 2
Send-Off Social – Raleigh Convention Center
We’ll wrap up Day 2 with a send-off social worthy of a 10 year celebration. We’ll keep things onsite (to keep you from having to travel) and light food and beverages will be available. This is a wonderful way to say “goodbye” until 2023 and see new and old friends one last time.
