Session: OSPO Journey: From Open Source ad-hoc to Strategic Decision-Making Partners

Open Source Program Offices serve many organizations to provide strategy and alignment on top of the organization’s open source efforts. If your organization has anything to do with software, your organization is likely to use open source, and thus, it should care about what comes along with that. The risks that your organization is taking, and the opportunity to contribute back to projects and be a part of a community are what make an OSPO a strategic asset able to accelerate open source adoption and thus, innovation.

During this talk, the audience will learn the main OSPO responsibilities as well as the different actions an open source initiative should accomplish to advance in their OSPO journey based on the leanings taken from the most recent OSPO model study that encapsulates the remarks from seasoned OSPO practitioners.
