2022 T-shirt Design
Over the last 9 year’s we’ve given away approximately 7,500 t-shirts, which is rather amazing when you think about it. That’s a lot of people wearing the ATO astro.
And while every t-shirt we’ve done has been special, this year’s version is extra special – because it’s our 10 year anniversary. We sincerely hope you like the design and will proudly wear it out and about as a result.
The Image
At the core of this year’s image is ever-present astro. They’ve been at the core of everything we’ve done from the beginning, and this year is no different. Astro is adorned with and surrounded by a variety of additional objects, all of which are designed to compliment the central feature in both intuitive and counter-intuitive ways. In addition, the feint “10” embedded in the background is an homage to year number 10.
The Shirts
The shirts themselves will be available in two (2) colors – red and black, and in two “cuts” – mens and womens. In addition, we’ll again use the same style and fabric blend as we have in the past – Next Level triblend fabrics (extra soft).
Who’s Making Shirts Possible?
The 10-year anniversary t-shirt is being made available by the fantastic team at Meta, and we are incredibly grateful.
How Many Are Available?
At minimum we’ll make 1,000 shirts available this year to attendees of the conference. Shirts will be available on a first-come first-served basis beginning Sunday, October 30 at the Raleigh Convention Center at 12 noon EST (when check-in and onsite registration for the Inclusion & Diversity event officially opens). This year we’ll make a certain number available each day of programming (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), with a few more being available on Tuesday, November 1 and Wednesday, November 2 (since attendance will be higher these days).
What’s The Cost?
All shirts we make available to attendees at the event are free, as they have always been. We also have two paid VIP packages available that include the conference t-shirt, for anyone that would like to be guaranteed of receiving a shirt.
