Sahdev P. Zala is a Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM) and open source development leader at IBM. Sahdev currently serves as a maintainer for the CNCF etcd project and a subproject owner in the Kubernetes Cloud Provider Special Interest Group (SIG). He has served as a Track Chair and Program Committee member for various KubeCons. Earlier, he was a core contributor to the OpenStack project and an OASIS TOSCA technical committee member. Sahdev’s open source work has been published in the Journal of Grid Computing, International Journal of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Container Journal, and other prestigious media. He has been a speaker at the All Things Open, KubeCons, Cloud Native Security Day Europe, OpenStack summits, European Grid Infrastructure (EGI) Conference, Linux Foundation Open FinTech Forum, IBM Think, and local open source Meetups.
