Ruby (Sattar) Romeu

Ruby Sattar is a Senior Developer Advocate for Student Programs at Postman. She’s a first-generation Pakistani-American and former elementary school teacher who grounded her pedagogy in social-emotional development. She shifted careers after diving into a coding bootcamp and volunteering in a program that prepares women of color for careers in STEM-related fields. Based in Providence (Northeast in the United States), her favorite activities include: empowering underrepresented groups to become changemakers, continuing to teach in new ways, and making TikTok less cool for the rest of us.
